Little White House Wedding - Cathy & Paul - Langley Wedding Photographer

One of my loves is the 'Little White House' in Fort Langley - so when Cathy contacted me to let me know that Paul and her were getting married there, I was floored! Not only that but in Cathy words we just have a giant 'love fest' for each other. Seriously, I adore this couple!

Verlon and I photographed their big day starting with their first look at an estate in Crescent Beach. We had the perfect weather for a perfect day. Other than destination weddings we haven't photographed many intimate weddings but we felt so honoured to be apart of their day. A smaller wedding has so many great qualities to it. Not only is the wedding significantly personalized, but spending time with your family is much easier. These two were surrounded by amazing friends and family that would make anyone on the outside jealous. Their bond, honesty and love for one another expressed during the speeches gave me misty eyes and a huge smile.

Cathy's relationship with her brother's is very similar to mine with my two older brothers.  I am the youngest and all I ever wanted to do was follow them around;  just to be around them was awesome. They were cooler than cool and I was attached at the hip. I could relate as her brother's told stories about wrestling with their little sister as I remembered the time Ric and I broke furniture when he tried one of 'The Rock's' wrestling moves. Or the secrets between siblings that mom and dad only find out later.

Cathy and Paul reminded us how special wedding days are, and the happiness that comes with going away from the traditional and doing what feels right. Their wedding tugged at our heart strings as we enjoyed it so very much.

Thank you both for choosing us to document your big day, it was incredibly special for us to witness such an amazing day.
