Westwood Plateau Wedding: David & Nicole

With nervous hands, he wanted on the bridge at Westwood Plateau outside the room where they would say their vows in later on that evening. Her dress graced the spiral staircase as she excitedly made her way up to David on the Bridge. All morning Nicole spoke of how she just needed to see David and the moment finally arrived. As she walked onto the floating bridge they embraced each other and eased all anxious and nerves for the day.

Clasping hands together whenever the chance arose, sneaking kisses, and sweet whispers were these two as we wandered the grounds taking photographs in the warm sun. It was an evening ceremony upstairs outlooking the green, mountains and view from the clubhouse. With family and friends crammed together excitedly to witness their vows, they said I do and made sure to greet each and every one of their guests on the way through to their cocktail reception.

A grand entrance that lead to a first dance, cake cut, mingling, laughter and lots of dancing - it was a whirlwind of an evening of celebration. It was evident to see that Nicole & David are surrounded by friends and support.

One of my favourite highlights aside from the two of them being simply amazing was Nicole's father in his white tuxedo jacket. The two looked timeless and when they danced to Frank Sinatra, I couldn't have imagine a moment more fitting. It was as though they were part of a black and white movie that finally came to colour, a classic scene of the bride dancing with her father.

Special thanks to Nicole & David - many blessings for you both and your marriage. As always it was such an honour to be let into such a personal event in your lives. Thank You.
