Downtown Vancouver Engagement Photographer: Isabel & Francois

Whenever I have the opportunity to go and photograph in Vancouver, I'm always looking forward to the 'city life' vs. out here in the burbs. I love the towers, the hussle and bustle and the unique architecture of beautiful Vancouver. Each building has such a unique story on how and when it was built and adds to the feel of the photographs.

Isabel & Francois met at a friend's bbq pool party, unaware of their future 'set up' by friends. Eventually running into each other while at the party it sparked their first date at "My Cup" coffee shop in Kerrisdale. Which played a major role in the proposal. With many a 10k race, many outdoor adventures and hockey games between them.

At the "My Cup" in Kerrisdale where they had their first date, Francois planned a complete surprise. It wasn't just another Thursday night this past November; it would be a night that would change their lives. Francois carefully planned the details, and waited for "My Cup" to close at 8pm and everyone had left the coffee shop. With a bouquet of a dozen red roses waiting for Isabel at the store. Francois then bent to one knee and asked Isabel the big question and the big answer was "Yes".
